1 1 lb. roll of pork sausage (any flavor)
3/4 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 green pepper (chopped fine)
1/2 onion (chopped fine)
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 -3 boxes of Athens Mini Fillo Shells
Brown sausage until done, drain. Reserve 1 tbls of fat. In a large skillet, use reserved fat and cook green pepper and onion until transparent. Add sausage, dressing and cheese. Stir, then add pepper flakes and garlic powder. Stir and cook under low heat until cheese melts slightly. Fill cups with mixture using a small melon ball scoop. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes. Cups can be made in advanced and frozen on a cookie sheet until ready to use. Also recipe can be doubled for a large crowd.
This appetizer is great for dinner parties. Just make in advance, bake and eat. Get ready for the complements!!!
