Fried Apple Pie

Ingredients:

4 Granny Smith apples cored peeled and sliced thinly
8 TB of Butter
8 Tb of Brown Sugar
3 Tb of Cinnamom
1 Tb. of nutmeg
24 Phyllo sheets thawed
Melted butter for brushing phyllo sheets
3 cups of Great Quality Vanilla Ice cream
1 Quart of Vedgetable oil
4 Tb of lemon juice
2 TB of lemon Zest

Instructions:

Sautee the apples in butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice and zest for 8 minutes until barely softened. Let cool completely. Spoon 1/4 of mixture onto 3 pyllo dough sheets. Then put a big scoop of ice cream on top of the apples. Brush the outside of the phyllo dough with butter. Fold up and make sure there is no way of leaking. Fry for 4-6 minutes in 350 degree oil until golden brown. Repeat 7 more times. Serve hot.
