ATHENS MINI FILLO SHELLS -15 COUNT
Fresh mozzarella cheese - 8 ounce
Salt - 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon
Coarsely ground pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Extra virgin Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Ripe tomatoes, firm - 8
Basil leaves, fresh - 15
Thaw ATHENS MINI FILLO SHELLS according to package instructions.
Chop mozzarella cheese into 1/2 inch cubes and toss with salt , pepper and olive oil.
Spoon 2-3 cubes of cheese in each ATHENS
MINI FILO SHELL.
To make tomato rose:
Peel the skin from each tomato into a long strip with a vegetable peeler. Cut the peel in half to make two roses.Roll up the peel pinching on one side and shape with your fingers to make it look like a rose.
Transfer the rose into each cup and garnish with a basil leaf on the side.
