Monthly Fillo Recipe Madness Contest Month: July Required Ingredient: corn Monthly Theme: grilling
Ingredients 15-shrimp, peeled ¾ cup corn, removed from 4 ears of grilled corn ¼ cup hoisin sauce 2 Tablespoons honey 1 teaspoon curry 15 Athens mini Fillo shells
Instructions Peel 4 ears of corn and place on grill. Combine hoisin, honey and curry. Place ½ mixture in another bowl and set aside. Place shrimp on skewers and brush shrimp and corn with sauce. Continue brushing with remaining sauce until corn and shrimp are cooked. (corn will take about 10 minutes and shrimp should only take about 5 minutes) remove corn from ears until you have ¾ cup. Mix corn with reserved sauce. Place 1 teaspoon corn in each Fillo shell and top with shrimp.
